Spend the day hiking trails, exploring waterfalls ,skiing, biking ; or kickback, unwind, and enjoy the breathtaking views & cozy atmosphere of Chateau Leveaux. Watch/listen as the waves crash into the rocky shoreline below. Start a fire in our private fireplace. Relax in the onsite pool/hot tub/sauna. Challenge your foes in pool/ping pong or on our room provided arcade machine!
The space
Take in all the beauty and fresh air that Lake Superior has to offer from our family sized unit. Our condo offers plenty of space to spread out/relax ;and is perfect to be used as your basecamp for any North Shore adventures! The view from here is simply amazing.

When you first enter the unit, you will feel as if you are on the water. Beautiful views from the living room/master bedroom/kitchen/ and the sky lit loft!

To your right, will be a modern / full bathroom with : hair drier/ hand soap/ bodywash/ shampoo/ conditioner/ toilet paper/ wash cloths/ hand towels/ towels/ and pool towels. Everything you'll need to help you enjoy the stay and to make you feel at home.

Upon further entry of the room, you will notice a fully equipped/modern kitchen. The kitchen is stocked to provide you with any cooking/eating needs you may have: oven/range/microwave/blender/ George Foreman grill /electric griddle/refrigerator/sink/coffee pot/coffee/paper towels/cookware/silverware/plates/cups/ even a dishwasher! Also features a stainless top food preparation area as well as a table for 4: perfect for eating and even better for playing games!

To the right of the kitchen is a closet that is the perfect spot for storing your skiis/snowboard/bags/etc.

Directly ahead of that, is the main floor master bedroom. This room features a dressed queen size bed with a stunning view of the lake, ceiling fan, nightstands with warm lights for reading, bamboo floors, and a full sized closet stocked with various blankets (for warmth on a chilly night or to have around the campfire).

Once you set your bags down, you will probably want to make your way to the living room. The combination of sweeping Superior views, private fireplace, sound system, futon /chairs make this the ultimate room for relaxation. Grab a book, start a fire, or grab from our cd library and put on whatever you fancy!! The living room has multiple tables to be used for games/storage and a variety of lamps for you to adjust the lighting. Make yourself at home. We do also have a pair of binoculars that can be used for sight seeing! There is also a TV with VHS/DVD player and dish. Wi-Fi is included in the room and lobby. Just outside the sliding doors is a nice size patio with seating for you to enjoy the views while sipping your morning cup of coffee!
*Wood for burning in the fireplace is not provided, but is available for sale locally.

Up the stairs you will find a cozy sky lit loft with a single bed a small work area. We have a desk with a tv monitor/hdmi plug in that works perfect for any remote work you may need to take care of! In addition, we also have an arcade machine(free of charge) that has 10 different games on it for you or the kids to enjoy(Ms. Pac Man / Dig Dug / Rally X /Galaga / Etc)

On the other side of the curtain is another fully dressed queen sized bed with an attached half bath.
Enjoy immediate walk out access to a number of staircases that take you on a journey to the waters/rocks of the North Shore / Lake Superior(Depending on weather conditions,these walkways are sometimes closed) . Our unit is also steps away from a campfire/ grilling spot- the perfect place for stargazing around a bonfire on a clear/cool night. You may be able to even hear the waves crashing on the rocky shore below.

As a guest, you will also have access to the shared common spaces. Enjoy the miraculous views or have a cup of coffee on the large common deck. There is also indoor seating/tables just inside of the large glass deck windows. Relax/read/play games/ watch the game on the large screen in the common lounge area- this area also has VHS/DVDs for use - please be sure to return them!

Go for an indoor swim, sauna, or a dip in the hot tub. Enjoy ping pong/pool/foosball/tv in the common game room. Common Washer & Dryer also available for use across from the game room!

Incredible location offers convenient access to many beautiful outdoor adventures: minutes away from Lutsen ski/snow & some of the states best hike/bike/snowmobile/cross country trails. Incredible restaurants and cafes are also minutes away!

Whatever you choose to do, you'll enjoy your time here. We think our place is very special and are excited to offer it to you! In addition, we do have another single story unit also on airbnb- If you are looking for a family/friend trip, please let us know- and we will do our best to accomodate!

Tofte is home to this vacation home. Lake Superior and Ray Berglund State Wayside reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum and Cross River Heritage Center.
