The large 5-bedroom private home is gorgeously crafted of log and stone, with impressive floor to ceiling stone fireplace (wood burning), vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and expansive deck. Nestled in an aspen grove between ski runs, this home enjoys privacy and quiet while still having quick access to both skiing and the amenities of Mountain Village. Winter views of the San Sophia ridgeline will take your breath away as you relax in the great room or enjoy the large deck - complete with hot tub and grill.
The main level of the home allows for gathering comfortably in the large open living room - with ample seating around the large stone fireplace, and a formal dinning room with table seating for 8 (additional seating at kitchen bar). The kitchen enjoys a Viking gas range, granite countertops, sitting nook & breakfast bar, and all the cookware to make memorable meals for your group. A 1/2 bath of the living area, also accessed easily from the hot tub, adds convenience. This level of the home features 2 bedrooms, one with king bed and one with "captains bunks" (queen lower and twin upper bunk). Each bedroom has a private attached toilet closet and share a "jack and jill" style shower in between.
The Master suite encompasses the upper level of the home. With king bed, separate office/sitting area, and full attached bath. The bathroom enjoys an oversized sunken soaking tub and separate steam shower, as well as 2 sink vanities. With views of the surrounding forest and mountains, this is truly a serene private sanctuary.
The lower level of the home enjoys a den, with second fireplace (gas), wet bar with mini fridge & ice maker, large screen TV, and plush couches for all your guests to enjoy. The Guest master suite is on this level with a king bed and attached full bath. There is also the final bedroom with room for all your little (or not so little) ones! Three built-in oversized twin bunk beds (3 lower bunks & 3 upper bunks) compete with stairs and ladders to access top bunks, and an attached full bath will ensure your whole group sleeps comfortably. Laundry room and 2 car heated garage are also on this lower level of the home.
Ski access is nearby, at the end of the cul-de-sac just a few driveways down Hang Glider Dr. You ski directly onto Double Cabins ski run on Lift 10 near where it intersects with Mountain Village Blvd. There is also full guest access to the complimentary on-call car shuttle service "Dial-A-Ride", which makes getting to/from the home easy and convenient. Whether going to/from skiing, or out to dinner & the gondola to downtown Telluride, this service will have it's drivers at your doorstep within minutes 6:30am - midnight, 7 days a week! (BL#014774)
