Set just above the Meadows ski run, guests will enjoy close access to the Telluride Ski area. In summer, the hiking and biking trails leading to the Town of Telluride and nearby ridges are just out your door. With gourmet kitchen, lots of gathering areas, private decks, and plenty of room for fun - this home has it all! For your group of up to 12 this home will be your perfect Telluride get-a-way. Guests enter the home on the lower level which has the first 2 guest bedrooms - each affectionately named after a ski run on the Telluride Ski Resort. The 1st large bedroom is "The Plunge" with 2 x Queen beds. A smaller bedroom/office, "Millions", has a set of twin bunk beds as well as desk area - with a view! A full bath with double vanity and shower is conveniently located in the hall off an inviting entryway foyer complete with benches, boot storage, hooks etc. for outdoor gear. This level of the home also has a laundry room with full size washer/dryer as well as a second full size fridge for overflow drinks/supplies, and heated 2 car garage.
From the entry foyer you proceed up a flight of stairs to the living level where you will be immediately struck by the awesome views of the surrounding San Juan Mountains from every aspect of the room. The open concept main floor boasts a large gourmet kitchen, adjacent dining area, pantry, and two living areas: One being a formal seating area with sweeping vistas, as well as a separate lounge area with gas fireplace, wet bar, and large flatscreen TV.
The 2nd master bedroom suite, "See Forever", is located off the living level with king bed, en suite bath, large walk in closet, and small balcony with seating to enjoy the sunset.
This level of the home also has a wrap around deck with BBQ grill, patio furniture including full size table/chair set, and the hot tub. The deck faces the Mountain views - both over the ski resort and Palmyra Peak as well as Mt. Wilson, offering amazing sunset views!
From the living level, stairs go to the upper level which completes the home with the true master suite and final bedroom. The "Gold Hill" bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite bath with tub/shower combo. The Master Bedroom Suite, "Happy Thought", enjoys a king bed, warm hardwood floors and a seating area with spectacular views, an en suite bath with jetted tub as well as separate shower stall, double vanities, and walk in closet.
The 4 main bedrooms enjoy smart TV's for use with your favorite apps and private wi-fi network for the home. The Free on-demand shuttle service operated by Mountain Village services the home for easy access to the gondola, ski school, and evenings out on the town. Ski access can also be via this shuttle, or is a short walk across the street and then ski onto the Meadows ski run via the golf course/nordic trail adjacent to the home (intermediate skiers + due to flat off-piste terrain crossing), or from The Peaks ski run ~250 yards up the road.
