The Space:
Upstairs you’ll find comfortable sleeping arrangements with additional flat-screen TV’s in two of the bedrooms and, you guessed it,.. more breathtaking lake scenes.

Enjoy a lakeside en-suite primary bedroom with a spacious king size bed. Bedroom two is lakeside with a queen sized bed. Bedroom three has a queen sized bed; the fourth offers two bunk beds. We have two full bathrooms upstairs with a convenient half bath downstairs.

All bathrooms have been updated with modern features, adding cozy comforts for a mountain retreat. Our home is your home to getaway and relax . Take advantage of the new furnishings chosen to enhance the charm of the lake front surroundings.

The Neighborhood:
The pristine beauty of the Sierra, at the water's edge of Lake Tahoe’s picturesque West Shore lies historical Tahoe Tavern Properties: Tahoe Tavern and Tavern Shores. Truly one of the most extraordinary lakefront communities available for year-round vacation rentals.

Tavern Shores is surrounded on both sides by 2 federal parks making for much privacy within the property; the layout consists of spacious green lawns under towering pines, and 50 townhouses spread out in low, 2 story buildings creating large open spaces and a quiet ambiance. There is a beautiful pier, buoys for your boat, a sandy beach, sand volleyball court, a heated pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a picnic area with outdoor grills, and walkways for bike riding. The Shores face toward the East, with views of famous Mt Rose and the 11,000’ peaks of Heavenly Mountain. Mornings are warmed by the sun rising over the mountains on the East side of Lake Tahoe. Afternoons and evenings are typically calm and serene as the sun sets behind us to the West, creating famous “alpen glow” colors on the mountains we gaze at on the East side of the Lake. Nearby activities include shopping, fun restaurants, boating of all types, bicycling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, camping, etc.

Getting Around:
Parking is steps from the home. There are coffee shops; a health food store, and restaurants just a few minutes from us. The Just ¼ mile south of Tahoe City on Hwy 89, you can walk into Tahoe City without leaving our beautifully landscaped grounds. Meandering woodland trails lead you up and down gentle slopes, through wide-open grassy meadows or along the shoreline. Before you know it, you’re in the heart of Tahoe City with its entire selection of shopping, dining, galleries, museums, a movie theater and more!

Please note that some features and amenities may be unavailable in the winter due to snow—including but not limited to BBQs, outdoor furniture, and patios. Also, Tahoe Tavern and Tavern Shores amenities are not guaranteed, and may be unavailable due to weather, maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control.

All guests will be required to complete a check-in form and rental agreement upon booking confirmation. Upon arrival, there will be another agreement the homeowner's association requires.
