The reviews are from people that have stayed here and have enjoyed the hospitality of the home. The second floor of the home is the short term rental the 1st floor is the owners suite. The GARAGE AREA IS NOT FOR STORAGE. The laundry area is a common area. The outside of the home has cameras AND there are cameras located inside the laundry garage area only. Cameras are for EV CHARGER, EV VEHICLES as well as supplies in garage.

WOW! What an AMAZING 1st time experiencing an We couldnt have picked a better place and host! Randy was outstanding in welcoming us into his we even got there!! As soon as we arrived, he greeted us at the driveway with chocolates in hand walked us into a VERY CLEAN, well decorated and warm area( I own my own cleaning company, so clean was important!)along with 3 different kinds of wine to choose from(much needed after driving over the pass!) and completely stocked with everything anybody needed(lots of great snacks, including ice cream bars in the freezer!) He kept contact throughout the weekend, to keep us informed of, well, things like the 3 deer that greeted us as we arrived back on a dark Saturday night! haha! We are so very impressed with Randy and his place he shares with so many! Every detail was perfect! We will be booking with him again, when we come back to visit my son, which is about every 6 months! We LOVE It! **HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!**

"This is a wonderful place to stay in Ruston Washington. Walking distance to the Zoo, Point Defiance, the Ferry to Vashon Island and the new area of Ruston Way with a ton of restaurants, a gym, spa, and Movie Theater ... has made the stay so comfortable, even gave us champagne and ice cream. Very clean, great quick communication, cozy bed, value, great little extras, ... he has thought of everything. This was our first time using and I'm not sure if we'll ever find a better one. We highly recommend booking...."

"When I read the seemed to paint the picture of a man who takes pride in his place, but that is a an understatement. It was 5 star service, what'd you expect from a well established hotel. He found the perfect balance between informative, and respectful of our privacy. He offered various surprises, such that, it made the experience uniquely perfect. The value is here, the space is perfect, and the location is peaceful."

This is such a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a quiet secluded relaxing place to stay in North Tacoma or Point Ruston. As you can see from the photos, the bedroom is roomy and truly comfortable. the primary has the en suite bathroom has a deep soaking tub/ shower. Oh so relaxing. The 2nd bathroom has the walk in shower.
The home is a wonderful place to stay. It is within walking distance to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium as well as the Park at Point Defiance. Point Defiance also has numerous hiking trails to explore. You can walk to the Ferry to Vashon Island and walk to Point Ruston with a ton of restaurants, a gym, spa, and the new Movie Theater right on the water front. By the way, let's not forget the Tacoma Dome, The Convention Center and downtown Tacoma. In addition, to the nearby Safeway and shopping areas, the Metropolitan Market is a specialty market slocated in the nearby Proctor area. The market has a variety of wines, cheeses and prepared gourmet food that is oh so wonderful.
if you are not driving, it must be noted that there is a wonderful public transportation system in the area as well as numerous UBER's and LYFTs.

Located in West End, a neighborhood in Tacoma, this vacation home is near a water park and on the waterfront. Cinemark Century Point Ruston and Puget Sound Tennis Center are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cutts Island State Park and Kopachuck State Park. Check out an event or a game at Tacoma Dome, and consider making time for Wild Waves Theme and Water Park, a top attraction not to be missed. Jet skiing, kayaking, and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
