This spacious holiday home is located in Ubbeboda, in Skåne. The cottage is set amongst woodlands, in a peaceful area, with the nearest neighbour 200 metres away. The lake is only one kilometre away and offers a lovely, child-friendly beach. Indoors, you will find a spacious kitchen equipped with all the necessary amenities, as well as a washing machine. The living room features a lovely, open fireplace, a wood-burning stove, and a TV. Since the cottage is situated in the woods, you might at times have difficulties with the TV-reception.. There is a VCR if you want to bring your own films. There's a laundry room with a washing machine and a bathroom with a biological toilet, a washbasin, and a bath tub. The house has four bedrooms, one with a double bed, two with two single beds in each, and one with a bunk bed. There's also a cot if you need one. The lovely towns of Kristianstad and Åhus are near and well worth a visit. The coast of Blekinge is another great destination. On the coast, you will find delightful towns such as Bromölla, Sölvesborg, and Karlshamn. Or why not drive north and visit Växjö? Vimmerby is about 2 hours and 45 minutes by car. It's an excellent destination for a daytrip. This area is the setting of many of Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books such as Emil of Lönneberga. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? When you are in Vimmerby, you might also want t visit an area that is called “The Kingdom of Crystal”, because of it's many glassworks. This is where the world famous Kosta Boda glassware is made.
