A ~15 minute drive will take you to the Emerald Isle beaches or Swansboro to walk the historic district and visit the many shops and restaurants. Perfect for individual(s) or couple who love to kayak, fish, paddle board, swim, golf or who simply want to relax and enjoy the water views, birds and dolphins. Well outfitted kitchen with multiple small appliances (Keurig, drip coffee maker, Ninja bullet, Soda Stream), updated bathroom, Samsung smart TV, LG combo washer-dryer combo, ceiling fans, heat pump, Green Egg grill. Originally a WWII army hut, renovated to include vaulted ceilings, loft with 2nd bed, living, dining area and reclaimed wood floors from local school house. Decorated in a somewhat whimsical, eclectic style. Follows Airbnb's 5 step enhanced cleaning-sanitization process.

Parking at rear entrance of cottage off private gravel road. Use of kayaks (life jackets included). Waiver of liability required with use of kayaks.

Private, quiet community with a handful of small cottages built in the early to mid 1900s that are still in use by their families, plus a few newer homes. ~5 minutes to Hwy 58; ~10 minutes to Hwy 24 and Star Hill Golf Club; ~15 minutes to Emerald Isle and Swansboro.

Silver Creek Golf Club and Star Hill Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Hammocks Beach State Park and Croatan National Forest. MacDaddy's Entertainment Center and Salty Pirate Water Park are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
