Welcome to our fully renovated mountain cabin, minutes from Big Bear Mountain, Snow Summit & The Village. Designed by a certified Short Term Rental Stylist, this cozy retreat nestled in the pines offers the perfect blend of modern luxury & rustic charm. It features 3 bedrooms: one w/a king-sized bed & ensuite bath, a second bedroom w/queen bed, & a third bedroom w/a twin over full bunk. All bedrooms have smart TVs & heaters. The hot tub, firepit & BBQ aren't to be missed. Parking for 3 vehicles.

Sugarloaf is a quiet mountain community in the San Bernardino National Forest, close to Big Bear Lake. It's known for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, and skiing. The area features cozy cabins, local restaurants, and a laid-back vibe, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Sugarloaf is located just eight (8) miles from Big Bear Lake.

Big Bear Lake is a popular mountain destination in the San Bernardino National Forest. It offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, hiking, and skiing. The town features a vibrant village with shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. With its stunning lake views and scenic trails, Big Bear Lake is a favorite spot for both adventure seekers and those looking to relax in a beautiful natural setting.

Although our cabin is located on a flat lot, we advise checking the weather prior to heading up the mountain. Road conditions can vary widely from day to day and often change quickly. You will need to know if chains are required, or if you will need a four wheel drive vehicle. The streets are plowed during the winter, but it can take time for the plows to get to each street. This is a mountain community and time moves at a slower pace than it does in the city. Be patient and enjoy the respite from the city.

2 cameras present. One is near the front door and monitors the street and the driveway. The second is located on the side of the house in the backyard and monitors the yard as we are in a remote area, frequented by bears and other mountain wildlife”. The camera does NOT monitor the hot tub.

Sugarloaf is home to this cabin. Big Bear Mountain Resort and Snow Summit are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit The Village. Bowling Barn and Big Bear Solar Observatory are also worth visiting.
