Sitting in the quiet neighborhood of Sugarloaf, you will feel like a local in no time. When you want to venture into town, make the quick three-mile drive to Big Bear proper or eight-mile drive into the heart of Big Bear Lake both offering eclectic shops, gear rental shops, restaurants, and grocery stores for all of your shopping needs. Come winter, the skiers of the group will be glad to know that Snow Summit Ski Resort is just over seven miles from home base and Bear Mountain Ski Resort is seven-and-a-half miles. Not to mention, Big Bear Lake will be the summer hit for fishing, boating, paddleboarding, and swimming!
