Ollie’s Folly is a gorgeous 3 bedroom/2 bathroom OCEANFRONT home directly across the cove from Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge and an easy hour drive to Acadia National Park. The perfect sunrise or sunset hike from Pigeon Hill is in your backyard with stunning views of Cadillac Mountain and Bar Harbor.
Ollie’s Folly features a spacious layout perfect for large groups. The chef’s kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is open to the large dining and living area. The primary bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with an ensuite bathroom (recently re-done with a gorgeous Carrara marble shower, photos coming soon!). The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. The home comfortably sleeps 6.
A large 500 sq.ft. deck overlooking the water and the firepit make for seamless indoor/outdoor living. Stop by the docks to pick up fresh lobster for dinner or spend the day at Acadia exploring the many mountains and trails. Ollie’s Folly is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Downeast Maine!
There is an unfinished walk-out basement with a slider which allows you easy access to store your bikes, kayaks, etc. You can either launch your kayak/canoe from the home or drive to the public boat launch which is just down the road.
The neighboring towns have cute downtowns with grocery stores, restaurants, and fresh seafood.
The home has Wi-Fi and a smart TV with access to all major streaming platforms.
Saturday-Saturday rentals preferred during peak summer months. Please message me if you have any questions about length of stay.
Located in Steuben, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Bartlett Maine Estate Winery and Grindstone Neck Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co and Wild Gardens of Acadia. College of the Atlantic Natural History Museum and George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History are also worth visiting.
