Our place is so much more than just a place to stay, it's an experience. Welcome to outdoor paradise + game day retreat! This modern day farmhouse sits on 15 acres of forest, fields and a fishing pond. Located 1 mile from Starkville City Limits, 5 miles from downtown and MSU campus. The closest lodging to Dodson Farms, a popular wedding venue, which is just over a mile away. We are one of the closest rentals to The Hill and Moor and Hewlett Barn/The Stables, other wedding venues in the area.
Brooks Farm is a modern day farmhouse built in 2015. We also offer a separate 2nd story guest house that can also be reserved to accommodate an additional 4 guests, for a total of 12 guests.

Our home sits on land that has been in our family for more than 100 years, and our children are the 5th family generation to live on the land.

The main house has 3 bedrooms that each have their own bathroom, as well as two living areas. The ensuite bathrooms of each bedroom make sharing this home with couples, or more than one family ideal. The close proximity to Dodson Farms also makes our location perfect for wedding attendees getting ready for the special day!

The first living area is a large room that has shiplap walls, pine floors and a tin ceiling. The room serves multiple functions including a dining area, a storage area with lockers, an office area, and a seating area with a daybed. The daybed can be used for lounging and watching TV, as well as sleeping two guests when the trundle underneath is pulled out.

The second living area is an open concept living room and kitchen that seats 4 at the kitchen counter. The laundry/pantry is off the kitchen.

• The master bedroom has a king size bed. The master bathroom has a soaking jacuzzi, as well as a walk-in shower.

• The other 2 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers.

• High speed fiber Wifi with an ethernet cable under the work station

• Pine floors throughout the home

• The home has 4 TV's, one in each living room, as well as 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Streaming is available via Samsung smart tv, Apple TV or amazon fire stick

• Laundry area with full size washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board. Detergent provided for your use

• Back deck overlooks a huge yard, woods and a flower garden. If the dahlias are blooming, we invite you to grab a mason jar from the pantry to decorate the dining table.

• A covered patio separates the main house from the guest house.

• This is a NON-SMOKING and PET FREE house.

• There are multiple exterior cameras monitoring video of the exterior for the safety and security of the owner and guests.
