This comfortable, newly remodeled two-bedroom stand-alone apartment is perfect for business travelers, professionals, or anyone looking for a relaxing break from city life.
The open-concept living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and cup-style coffee maker. Dishes and basic cooking utensils are provided for your convenience. The adjoining living and dining areas offer plenty of space to unwind, complete with books, games, a DVD player, and a television with Roku for streaming your favorite shows.
The first bedroom features a cozy queen-size bed and a small sitting area, while the second bedroom includes a comfortable double bed. Each bedroom has its own window air-conditioning unit to keep you cool.
The bathroom includes a jetted tub, separate shower, and wall-mounted hair dryer.
A laundry room is located in the entryway leading up to the apartment and comes equipped with a washer, dryer, detergent, ironing board, and iron. Please note that there is one flight of stairs leading to the apartment entrance.
Out back, you’ll find a lovely wooden deck — a perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air or a quiet evening drink. A small fenced yard provides additional outdoor space to relax.
The apartment sits conveniently along U.S. Route 119, just five miles outside the city of Spencer. Charleston and Parkersburg are about an hour’s drive away, and Ripley is approximately 45 minutes.
Because the home is located along the main road, you may notice some traffic noise. Internet access is available but may be slower than you’re used to — one of the small trade-offs for a peaceful rural setting.
Spencer is home to this vacation home. Local points of interest include Chestnut Ridge Winery, Little Blue Creek Church, and Clendenin Park and Playfield.
