This home away from home sleeps 16! Master Guest suite available upon request and additional nightly rates so sleeps 18 if desired!
With 6 (+1 upon request) Bedrooms & 5 Bathrooms it is a home with plenty of diversions and the opportunity to a variety of recreational activities both on water and land to meet everyone's desires!
GLEN'S GETAWAY is located in a NO-WAKE COVE and has stair access to its own PRIVATE BOAT DOCK.
It is in the perfect spot for swimming, basking, or we like to say "Floating" so bring your inflatables or coast out on one of our 4 KAYAKS provided.
At Glen's you can enjoy the perks of being within CLOSE PROXIMITY (1/2 mile) to FLAT HOLLOW MARINA; that offers watercrafts of all types or even bring your own Jet skis, boats, or tubes, because Norris Lake is perfect and SAFE for cruising and floating alike.
Our home comfortably sleeps 16 within 6 spacious BEDROOMS;
4 are PRIVATE ROOMS with King beds TV’s, and Bathrooms.
Fully STOCKED KITCHEN, PUTTING GREEN, 3 BALCONIES, FIRE PIT, PROPANE FILLED GRILL, and nothing left out even a RECREATION ROOM: equipped with a Ping Pong table, a variety of board games and puzzles, Flat screen smart TV, and Bluetooth Speakers.

Glen's Getaway, a sleek and welcoming home, has private parking for *up to 7 vehicles*. Parking is located directly in front of the home; on a sloped gravel drive (not suitable for all vehicles); and in private spots on the upper road.

Although we love our fur babies, ABSOLUTELY NO PETS, at this time.
Our housekeeper is severely allergic. ($1,000 fine/night for pets)

At Glen's Getaway, you first step up to the main level deck and enter through the full view front door to unveil the fresh, open floor plan, with the entire east facing wall made up of windows to take in the Tennessee views.

There is a large comfy sectional couch, chairs, end table with OSB outlets and a coffee table to gather around. A large screen TV is mounted on the wall to enjoy a program of your choice-we offer DirecTV or stream your own, WI-FI is available. An electric fireplace is also available for those who come to enjoy our home during the colder seasons.
Glen's open concept allows for easy interaction while preparing a meal. This up-to-date, polished kitchen has plenty of concrete counter space. It has matching rustic kitchen islands, a high-top table and stools that can be moved around for endless dining configurations. There is a double oven range stove top, French door refrigerator with freezer drawer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig available. We also have a plethora of baking pans, crock pots, cocktail glasses, serving dishes and utensils placed in the pantry or cabinets so you can assemble or grill any spread you and your friend's desire.
(We will provide basic cleaning supplies, some dish tabs and trash bags. Please note, there is NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL.)
Glen's Getaway has 6 spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms that sleep 16-2 rooms on each floor of our tri-leveled house. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan for those who need that constant soft breeze or white noise. The main floor bedrooms are just off a short hall. The left BR has a queen bed, nightstand, dresser and a desk for taking time to write a letter or do a little work if necessary. (Closest door remains locked for supplies.) The right BR has a queen bed, full length mirror, nightstand, shelving and ensuite. The upper level features the largest BR on the left with a queen bed, futon, dresser, bedside table and an ensuite. (Closet remains locked for supplies.) The right BR has a queen bed with storage below it, shelving and also an ensuite. The two lower-level bedrooms are windowless, so they are perfect for those afternoon nappers, young and old. The left BR has a queen bed, dresser, end table with OSB ports, a dimmable overhead light with remote, a full-size closet and a large screen television. The right BR has a bunk bed-twin/full size mattresses, futon bed, plus a twin mattress stored below the bunk that is pulled out and remains on the floor. It has a chair for lounging, shelving and also a dimmable light with remote.
When you take the stairwell down to the recreation room, you're met again with the full picture windows and a sliding door that leads out to the lower-level deck. There is a large screen, smart T.V. that you can watch a sporting event or movie on. There's a cushy couch and loveseat to lounge upon and the coffee table, it is extendable. You can pull it up for ease of reach or leave it flat, so that you can play one of our interactive family board games together. You could also challenge each other at a game of ping pong or table tiki toss. Your group could karaoke with our rocking-color changing Bluetooth speaker. Everyone can enjoy our rec room-we also have puzzles, cards and a few children books and toys. There is also a breakfast table against the far wall, along with some cabinets, a sink and another refrigerator/freezer for storing any of your overflow food and beverages. The laundry room, on this level, has a washer, dryer, small ironing board and cupboards. (We will provide a few laundry tabs.)
All of our five immaculate baths feature a vanity sink, roomy shower/tub combo with nice water pressure and above lighting. The first communal bath is off the main floor and second shared bathroom is in the lower level of the house. The other 3 are ensuites. All bathrooms come with 1 SET of TOWELS-that is 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel and 1 body towel for a total of 5 sets. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN ADDITIONAL BATH TOWELS AND LAKE TOWELS. (We will provide a bottle of pump soap and a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom.)
At Glen's Getaway, we have several entertainment activities on our multi-level decks. Our lowest deck has a putting green that you and your friends can test your stroking ability on. We then have tiki toss, tumbling towers and cornhole available for play on the lower-walkout deck. There is a picnic table that can convert into two benches, additional chairs and tables that way the whole group can gather for the festivities.
The main level deck houses the grill, a covered dining area for six with adjustable lighting, fan, a few chairs and side tables to allow for more seating. All of our decks are a favorable place to watch the birds, the stars and your friends have a good time! (Please do not enter outdoor locked area-for host's supply use only.)
Your guests could head down the lighted stairs to the landing, where you can gather around the fire pit to roast hot dogs, make s'mores or take in the ambience of a nighttime fire with the company and laughter of others.

Venture further down the steps to the private boat dock. The dock has one covered boat slip and can withstand a max dock load of two boats and two jet skis. The dock has towel hooks and sun powered lighting. The still waters of the no-wake cove allow the perfect conditions to take our kayaks out for a spin. You can bring your own floaties, tubes, or mats and recline for hours in these calm, clean waters. You can bring your paddle board and just ride off into the sunset, take a dive off the dock or reel in some nice fish.
Flat Hollow Marina is located just 1/2 mile from our home, so it makes bringing your boat or jet ski a breeze or take up the opportunity to rent one from them! They provide a variety of rentals and supplies. They have a restaurant varying nightly entertainment, such as trivia and live music and it is just a short walk, boat or car ride away.
 Glen's Getaway is situated in the perfect place to go water skiing, tubing, knee boarding, sightseeing of the surrounding coves or go check out the local jumping bridge!
There is so much to do at Glen's Getaway but if you need to expand your horizons, the proximity of our home allows for a reasonable travel time to visit some of Tennessee's amusement parks, museums, wineries, restaurants, stadiums, or ATV trails. Maybe you need a convenience or grocery store, they're all fairly accessible to Glen's Getaway, located upon the gorgeous waters of Norris Lake.

Located in Flat Hollow Marina, a neighborhood in Speedwell, this vacation home is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Campbell County Historical Society and Big Ridge Park Amphitheatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at La Follette Country Club and Sugar Hollow Marina. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking/biking trails nearby.
