"Lucky Pelican" is a 4-bedroom golf course home overlooking hole number 10 with unbelievable sunset views. From any of the homes five porches' guests can hear cracking waves on the beach. From the upper deck there are panoramic views of the ocean, river and lagoons. The island's wildlife and tropical birds delight spectators from the back porch. Some guests never leave the rocking chairs on the back porch from sunrise to sunset and stargazing at night the peaceful serenity is unparallel.
Most guests call this home 'a hidden gem' on the island. It offers the beauty of the maritime forest from the entrance with Spanish Moss hanging from the trees and the sound of the island breeze swaying against the palm fronds. Upon climbing up the driveway the magnificent BHI light greets visitors as the back of the home opens to unbelievable vast water views, the sound of the ocean, marvels of nature and scenic golf views. Truly the best of everything Bald Head offers.
The house is ideally located on the island with a five-minute bike ride to the beach, a quick ride to the marina for fishing and fast access to island shops. Access to both the Shoals and the BHI Club for additional island fun.
This home has been completely remodeled with lots of upgrades to this classy coastal themed beach house and features artwork from local artists. The house is fully stocked with a chef's kitchen supplies, games, books, island history, beach chairs, bikes and everything guests could want for a memorable get away.

Downstairs you have 3 bedrooms. The first is a queen master with a private bath. Just off this bedroom we have a brand-new added screen porch (with an amazing outdoor shower)! The other two bedrooms share a bath and include a queen in the 2nd bedroom and the 3rd bedroom has a spacious bunk room featuring 2 twins and a double bed for maximum sleeping capacity. Upstairs is the main living area that boasts a stylish, well stocked kitchen (including ice cream maker, rice steamer, 2 crock pots & air fryer!), living area, dining room and a beautiful view of the golf course. The king master suite is also on the main level featuring a large walk-in shower and double sink vanity.

Just outside the master and main living area is a massive deck extension, which takes advantage of the nice golf course, ocean and lagoon views. It is one of our most favorite features in the home. Our most favorite is the roof top deck! It is above the main porch to enjoy the sunshine while taking in all the views! Talk about views…. Not only do you continue to have the great golf course views, but you have ocean and river views! This is a favorite pastime for families and their guests. Many years ago, when the island was first evolving this home was noted as the highest point on the island and was said to have the best gatherings on the upper deck watching the super bowl, holiday parades, major sporting events, etc. from the rabbit ears of the tv Of course this was before BHI technology and the features we now take for granted.

Dinner plans? Enjoy a dinner grilled in the back yard or escape for dinner, pool, golf or tennis at the clubs. We have memberships available for a separate purchase to the Shoals Club as well as the BHI Club with golf access. We also have two- 4 pass golf carts to stroll around the island. We welcome you as our guest and hope you make as many memories as we do!

All club memberships must be purchased directly with the club. Bald Head Island Services is not able to answer club related questions or coordinate your club memberships for you. Links and how to sign up with both clubs will be sent upon booking your rental.

North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area and Kure Beach. Looking to get your feet wet?
