The kitchen area is the heart of the house, complete with calacata gold marble tops, 8 burner Viking range, Sub-Zero fridge, wall mounted ovens with heating drawer, two dishwashers and an under-counter microwave. The kitchen connects to the family room and looks out on the backyard and pool as well as giving a view to the front of the house. A big screen TV sits centered in built-in bookshelves and the family can relax at the kitchen table while their meal is being made.
A traditional home with paneled foyer and vaulted ceiling, there is a flow to the house that welcomes every guest. The full dining room with seating for twelve has a gas fireplace and built-in shelving. French doors and a brick patio run the length of the rear of the house. The living room has a tall mantled wood-burning fireplace with skylights and large double height window facing the side yard. Relax and play chess or backgammon on the antique table complete with wood pieces. The children can watch as they sit in the bay-like window that is surrounded by built-in book shelves.
In the rear yard there is plenty of room to stretch your legs on deck chairs or enjoy the pool and oversized spa. A natural gas grill is set to bbq your fresh meats from Smitts grocer, Citarella or the Clam man who are a 2 minute drive down the road. An outdoor table is well shaded under the home’s rear overhang.
In the finished basement you will find a large open room with big screen TV and 10 foot ceilings. A California kitchenette provides an area to relax by the TV and keep an eye on the kids as they play on the ping pong table or foosball in the large playroom at the end of the hall. The spa bathroom on this level offers a rain shower with body sprays and a bamboo motif.
