Whether you're planning a family vacation, a getaway with friends, or a multi-generational trip to South Haven, this thoughtfully designed retreat makes it easy to gather, reconnect, and simply enjoy being together.
Start the day at the beach, spend the afternoon on the pickleball court or relaxing in the heated Soake® plunge pool, then take the short walk back to Lake Michigan as the sun begins to set. Some of the most memorable moments at Urban Escape happen when the sky turns shades of pink and orange over the water before everyone gathers around the fire pit for the evening.
Inside, the heart of the home is a bright, open living space where everyone naturally gathers. The oversized sectional invites movie nights, afternoon naps, and long conversations, while the beautifully equipped kitchen makes cooking for a crowd feel effortless. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before heading to the beach or lingering over a leisurely dinner, there's plenty of room for everyone to be together.
Just beyond the main living area, you'll discover what quickly becomes everyone's favorite room. The four-season room features heated floors, a cozy fireplace, walls of operable windows, comfortable seating, and another large television, creating the perfect place to read, watch a movie, enjoy your morning coffee, or simply slow down for a while, no matter the season.
The second floor offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms designed to comfortably accommodate families and groups. Two spacious king bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, while two queen bedrooms are connected by a second Jack-and-Jill bathroom, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy.
The third floor is a destination all its own. Six custom built-in twin bunks, a full bathroom, shuffleboard, board games, oversized bean bag chairs, and a large television create the ultimate hangout space for kids, teens, or anyone who's still young at heart.
Step outside, and Urban Escape truly becomes a destination. The private backyard was designed for making memories together, with a covered pergola featuring adjustable louvers and pull-down screens, outdoor dining for ten, comfortable lounge seating, Adirondack chairs, and a natural gas fire pit that keeps everyone talking long after the sun goes down.
Looking for a little friendly competition? Your private pickleball court also includes a basketball hoop and plenty of room for games, while cornhole and the nearby beach offer even more ways to spend the day. When you're ready to relax, slip into the heated Soake® plunge pool. A Note from the homeowners:
Urban Escape is the culmination of everything we love about Summer in Michigan, spending time with family and friends outside. We designed the home for multiple families to enjoy comfortably, and what kid doesn't love a sleepover in a bunk room! Outside showcases our love for playing outside. From the pickleball court, the basketball hoop, and even the firepit, there is something for everyone to get involved with.

Guest Access:

Beach Tram Access: Electric trams are available along the bluff to traverse the 90 foot bluff. The trams are maintained by the neighborhood association, and Shores cannot guarantee that trams will be fully functional every day of your stay. The association may need to close the trams to address repairs, routine maintenance or recharging the batteries that provide the power to move the platforms. Guests are asked to follow the tram operating instructions so the trams stay operational for everyone in the neighborhood. In the event that the trams are out of service, the neighborhood also provides stairs to the beach at the end of Atlantic Ave.
The Neighborhood:

Miami Park is a beautiful community located just to the north of South Haven - providing a well-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of all that our lakefront community has to offer. Here, you'll find all of the amenities that you're accustomed to at home and then some, all while being tucked away in the modest woodlands of Southwest Michigan. Take an evening stroll down by the bluff to catch an awe-inspiring sunset over Lake Michigan, or better yet, take the community's tram system down the bluff and spend the evening on the private beach!
Getting Around:

Getting around Miami Park is fairly simple with the layout being ovular with bisecting streets lined with luxury homes! You'll find that the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan is only a short stroll down the street. More so, navigating into the heart of South Haven for all of our local gems is fairly straightforward as well; simply hop on Blue Star Highway and head south until you reach the traffic light at Phoenix Street. At that point, hang a right and you'll find yourself immersed in all that is SoHa!

Private Beach Access

Miami Park provides access to a private, neighborhood Lake Michigan beach via a seasonal neighborhood tram system.
Please Note About the Shoreline

Lake Michigan's shoreline changes naturally throughout the year. The tram delivers guests to a sandy area above the waterline. Stairs at either end of the beach provide access to the lake, and beach conditions will vary with changing lake levels and weather.

Your Shores Vacation Rentals team are local area experts who know all of the ins and outs of our beautiful homes in South Haven. We're available in-person Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, to assist guests in planning their South Haven vacation and providing insider tips for an authentic local experience.
For our incoming guests: Prior to your arrival you will receive all pertinent check-in information communicated via email and mobile SMS messaging, as well as a local destination guide with our personal recommendations on local eats and activities in the area. We provide an after-hours emergency phone number to call in case an issue arises outside of our standard business hours. Located in Miami Park, a neighborhood in South Haven, this vacation home is near a water park and near the beach. Michigan Maritime Museum and Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum & Gardens are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include South Haven Center for the Arts and The Fun Park. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
