Designed by local architect Daniel Nichols, this completely new, very private, one story, 3 bedroom 3 bathroom contemporary farmhouse offers every amenity of Sonoma living. Villa Tranquillo possesses beautiful views of the eastern slope of Sonoma Valley, which can be admired from the great room, primary bedroom, outdoor patio and the swimming pool. Minutes to walking trails with views of majestic redwoods, access to many wineries and fine restaurants in the town of Sonoma, and shopping in adjacent scenic villages.

The grand open living room features a comfortable sitting area, a large dining table and a well equipped kitchen. A separate breakfast room offers a space to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or to take work calls.
The primary suite feature a king size bed, a large walk in closet and a full bathroom equipped with two sinks, a walk in shower, a recessed tub, heated floors and a large gas fireplace. The West guest suite features a queen size bed, automatic blinds, and a full bathroom with a shower over tub. The East guest suite is equipped with a queen size bed and a full bathroom accessible from the bedroom and from the side entry hallway. Dramatic high ceilings, wide plank hardwood floors, and very reliable high speed internet add to the overall comfort of this well designed and comfortable house.

Beautifully landscaped outdoor space features a relaxing 40X18 feet salt water lap pool connected to a spa, with an outdoor shower. The back terrace features a full kitchen, outdoor propane fire pit and fireplace, large sit down dining table and bar siting.
The town of Napa is 20 minutes away with access to many more wineries and tours. Plenty of golf, and access to Jack London state park. A 50-minute drive to Point Reyes National seashore, and 50 minutes to tour Muir Woods. The slopes of the Sierras are 2.5 hours away via highway 12 and interstate 80.

Glen Ellen is home to this vacation home. Sonoma County Fairgrounds is a popular area attraction and if an activity is on the agenda, Domaine Carneros and V. Sattui Winery are worth checking out. Sonoma TrainTown Railroad and Robert Ferguson Observatory are also worth visiting.
