If you want to visit the heart of D.C. without the traffic and expensive parking, stay with us in Silver Spring, just over the Maryland – D.C. state line.
You'll have an entire finished basement apartment all to yourself, with private bathroom, living area, washer/dryer and kitchen. The unit is meticulously maintained and cleaned, with new linens, pillows, comforter, bedding; towels, washcloths, and toiletries. Guests are given full privacy at all times with easy self-check in.
Public transit is easy to access in this safe, quiet neighborhood. Hike or jog in the wooded trails of the famous Rock Creek Park, just 2 blocks away.

Private entrance to the apartment through the back door of a detached single-family home. Your hosts are right upstairs if you need anything, or just have questions about the area.

A SmarTrip® card is a permanent, rechargeable card used to pay Metrorail and local bus system fares. It's plastic, like a credit card, and is embedded with a special computer chip that keeps track of the value of the card. The card is used to enter and exit and the fare can be paid for at the kiosk in the metro station.

Located in Silver Spring, this vacation home is in the city center. Union Station Shopping Center and Tysons Corner Center are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Smithsonian's National Zoo and Smithsonian National Postal Museum. Check out an event or a game at Capital One Arena, and consider making time for Kennedy Center, a top attraction not to be missed.
