Spectacular, completely remodeled home with HVAC, pool, spa, gym/fitness studio and poolhouse on prominent corner in Sconset.
Widely considered the finest home rental on the east side of the Island, 30 Main Street - also known as Zoo Fest - is a newly renovated, professionally decorated, fine art-filled, and fully equipped property with all the bells & whistles on .60 of an acre within a 5 minute walk to the Sconset village, and the beach (#23 "Best Beaches in the World" Conde Nast, 2020), slightly beyond.
The drive-up driveway leads you to a front covered porch and then, inside to the expansive living room adorned with fireplace, beamed ceiling, and stunning art. A dining room features hand painted walls of amazing huge jellyfish, and a large round handmade table seating for up to 10 inside overlooking the stone terracing and the pool outside. There is a quiet office, large gourmet kitchen and breakfast bar and a cozy family room leading outside.
On the first floor is a master suite with king bed and access to the pool. Two separate staircases lead to the second floor where there are five en-suite bedrooms consisting of 2 queen bedrooms, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and two bedrooms with king beds, including an upstairs master bedroom with walk-in closet, large bathroom with tub, and a walk-out balcony and sitting area. An attic - accessed by a rope handrail drawn staircase - is an area perfect for kids, including a private living room with large beanbag chairs and TV, adjoined by a separate bedroom area with 4 built-in beds. All of the bathrooms are furnished with Molton & Brown soaps, lotions and bath products, and Matouk towels.
Outside, the upper patio terrace features luxurious teak deep seating sofas and chairs with Snow White Sunbrella cushions including a spectacular custom concrete dining table which seats 12, over which a huge Tucci automated umbrella (w/ heater and uplighting) shades on hot days and nights. Poolside, there are 2 large teak king size daybeds and several chaise lounge chairs, as well as a 4' square teak dining table with chairs, surrounding the custom 16’ X 40’ gunite swimming pool and spa, and built-in grilling area.
Then there is the new pool house with large TV, refrigerator, drink coolers and ice machine. More, upstairs, you will find a brand new private fitness studio, professionally outfitted by Aktiv to ensure you have all you need for your workout or yoga.
Adjacent to the pool, a path leads from the pool area through a gate to a fire pit surrounded by large teak Adirondack chairs, adjacent bocce ball court, and quarter acre of open lawn perfect for volleyball, badminton, frisbee (provided) and other games. The entire home is beautifully illuminated at night with custom outdoor lighting, including gas lamps from New Orleans. Finally, a fully integrated Sonos system graces the entire property with the music for the moment!
Located in Nantucket, this vacation home is near the beach. Sankaty Head Light and The Old Mill are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Siasconset Golf Course and Nantucket Golf Club. Nantucket Shipwreck and Lifesaving Museum and Theatre Workshop of Nantucket are also worth visiting. Sailing, fishing, and swimming offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking nearby.
