This Federal Style home has many original details, a center hall with an arched entrance and a spiral staircase leading up to the third floor. Five bedrooms with new matresses, furnished with period antiques and fine linens. Our dining room can accommodate ten adults and two children. The living room has a concert-quality Steinway piano. Paneled library room features a large smart TV, and wood burning fireplace. Kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and many extras.
Many of the owner's husband's famous photographs are on display throughout our home, including a book of his work. His photos include those of Bob Dylan, Billy Holiday, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Leonard Bernstein and Glenn Gould.
Two lovely outdoor eating areas, a terrace and patio, are available in warmer months and a large grill can be used year-round. The private grounds can accommodate outdoor games or are good for enjoying nature.
Located in Sharon, this vacation home is in a rural area. Mohawk Mountain Ski Area and Millbrook Vineyards and Winery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Clarke Outdoors and Harney and Sons Tea Tasting Room. Traveling with kids? Consider Trevor Zoo, or check out an event or a game at Lime Rock Park. Take in the nearby slopes with skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as ice skating and sledding.
