A stone throw away from the Historical Discovery Park which hosts a summer Powwow. You will find 5 miles of hiking, a beach and a beautiful Historical Lighthouse.
Our above-street location offers privacy enhanced by a gated fence.
This stand alone, single level 1943 built charming cottage is accessed by 23 STAIR STEPS from the city sidewalk therefore not suitable for our ADA community or anyone with mobility issues.
The yard offers privacy, quiet moments, and some birdwatching.
Our yard supports and promotes an organic and natural environment for wildlife pollinators including solitary mason bees!
We ask that you do not feed any wildlife animals.
Open layout for the living room, dining and kitchen area. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking gourmet meals.
Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, writers, business travelers, and families with kids, (our cottage is not childproof).
Our place is well loved and reminiscent of cottages that once surrounded Fort Lawton. We hosts one guest/group at a time and is not shared with anyone during your stay.
Cottage has character as it has settled through time.
Our neighbors are all year round residents. It's the perfect base for hikes and strolls to the beach, the bluff and Salmon Ladder on the Ballard Locks. It's about 10 minutes drive to downtown Seattle.
Grocery is 2 blocks away, a leisure 5 minute walk!
Public transit with access to stadium routes is next to the grocery store.
An easy 10+ minute taxi ride to Downtown, Pike's Place Market, South Lake Union, Fremont or University District.
North Magnolia is bordered by The Ballard Locks and Salmon Fish Ladder, South Magnolia is bordered by Pier 89-91, where the Alaska Cruises embark to and from.
Located in Magnolia, a neighborhood in Seattle, this cottage is near theme parks and near the beach. Seattle Cruise Ship Terminal 91 and Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake Union and Lake Washington. Consider Seattle Center for a night out, and don't miss Woodland Park Zoo, a top local attraction. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with rock climbing and ecotours nearby.
