A beautiful, peaceful property located on the Western shore of the Chesapeake Bay in St Mary’s County Maryland just 5 miles North of Pt Lookout State Park. From the front yard, it’s a short less than 1 minute walk to the beach and Chesapeake Bay shoreline. The property is setup with everything needed for you and your friends and family to enjoy a comfortable stay during each season of the year. New this year is hot water in the outdoor rinse off area. It has for 100 families over the past 9 years! “Peaceful, cozy, comfortable, everything you need, great back yard, relaxing, great spot if you need to work during your trip, the twin-size swing in the gazebo is so relaxing, WiFi works throughout the property even on the back porch and in gazebo, loved making s’mores outside, short walk to the sand, beautiful place to take walks and enjoy a run, we rode bikes and had so much fun” are all comments we see in Guest Reviews and in the Guestbook. Parents are encouraged to shop ahead and bring your groceries with you on the first day because once you arrive, you won’t want to leave to spend any time in a grocery store! (Instacart, Walmart and Target are available for deliveries) The sand, water, grass, sunrise and sunset views, the birds, deer, fox, turtles, frogs, crabs and fish are all waiting for you. Game Room full of fun in the backyard is a great spot to hang out and play Pool and darts, corn hole and Giant Jenga. Call or write with any questions, peace in the “land of pleasant living” of St Mary’s County Maryland is waiting for you and your friends and family. Disclosure: RING floodlight security cameras are installed at each of the 3 entry doors of the house and driveway. A (non-floodlight) camera is installed at the privately marked entrance doors of the “Tool Shed”. The contents of the “tool side” of the backyard shed are private, not for Guest access or use. The water level in the back of the property is in view of (2) RING (non-floodlight) cameras.

Located in Point Lookout, a neighborhood in Scotland, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. Make plans to come again! “check-out” will be a breeze! - advise owner if you will depart before 11am and if any items have become broken (owner will plan for repair or replacement)
- install grill cover - return kayaks and paddle board and oars onto rack and life jackets/beach toys inside the small wooden shed along the driveway (if used) - (daily) unplug gazebo lights
- turn off ac / lights in gameroom - return backyard games, bote brand floats, bikes to gameroom -inside: close mudroom and sliding glass doors - load / start dishwasher make plans to come again!
