Description
This historic carriage house comes fully furnished with a fresh, industrial design. The full kitchen is outfitted with modern cabinets and appliances, all utensils and dishes required for cooking a delicious meal, and a Keurig coffee maker. Complementary coffee pods and sweeteners provided. The living space boasts an open and airy living / dining area. In the living room you will find a comfortable L-shaped couch and a flat screen Apple TV. Reliable Wifi is provided and login access will be provided in your welcome information. The sun-filled bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable, queen-sized bed, blackout curtains, and an adjustable desk. In the closet, you will find a large mirror, hanger space, iron, ironing board, and an optional box fan. The small, but stylish bathroom is just off the hallway leading to the bedroom. We provide toiletries and toilet paper for your arrival. Guests are responsible for providing their own once the provided toiletries are exhausted. As a guest of Habersham Hideaway, you will have access to your own private front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. You will also have a small backyard with herb filled planter boxes and space for your furry friends. *There are security cameras on the front porch and outside the back door. These are strictly for security purposes.
Location
Habersham Hideaway is a short walk to the beautiful Forsyth Park, St. Bibiana bar and restaurant, and Kroger grocery store. You are just a short walk to Historic Downtown Savannah where you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, antiquing, historic sites, and ghost tours. You will also be a 20 mile drive from Tybee Island beaches.
Parking and Transportation
The parking is on-street and free. This area provides ample parking availability outside the rental as well as around the neighborhood. You’ll have the entire space to yourself including a spacious front porch and a small, enclosed back yard. There is ample on-street, non-metered (free) parking. Please pay attention to the posted street sweeping signs regarding when you should not park in a certain area. If you are parked in a street sweeping zone during posted no-parking times, you will receive a parking ticket. If you don't feel like strolling through the squares for the short walk downtown, there are pedi-cabs available as well as a free bus that runs from Forsyth Park to downtown. The posted details for this shuttle can be found near the corner of Park Avenue and Bull Street which borders the south end of the park. This bus is known as the Dot and picks up directly across form Forsyth Park on Park Street. Keep an eye out for the purple and green signs throughout town for pickup locations. The city tries to keep these buses running every 15 minutes.

Located in Savannah, this vacation home is in the city center. River Street and Tanger Outlets are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Forsyth Park.
