Our home overlooks Putnam Brook, which cuts a deep gorge in a wooded plateau through our property before continuing to Saratoga State Park. The property is a 10-acre oasis of wilderness turned into a private park, including a secluded picnic area on the river bank with a fire pit and multiple decks and balconies overlooking the gardens and valley. You will share the property with birds, deer, wild turkeys, and turtles, which are often seen along the picturesque nature trail. You'll be minutes from the shops and restaurants of Broadway, yet emersed in nature.

The house, owned by a European interior designer and her writer husband, combines beauty with comfort. It's filled with original artwork and a mixture of antique and modern furniture, and offers views of nature from its huge windows.

Enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air on the wraparound deck. Watch the fireflies as you dine in the screened-in gazebo at night. Sip a glass of wine in the hot tub, looking at the stars. If you open the windows as you're falling asleep at night, the croaking tree frogs and the babbling brook will lull you to sleep.
