Welcome to the perfect mountain vacation getaway for two. We are located in the upscale gated community of The Divide at Bald Rock where serenity will surround you with breathtaking long-range mountain views. The residence is nestled at the edge of the woods sitting near the top of the mountain at 4200 ft elevation. Secluded, yet you are just minutes away from Cashiers, NC and a short scenic drive to Highlands, NC where shopping and dining experiences are plentiful.
The 800 SF guest house is above the main residence's detached garage and has a private/separate entry. *Please note that we are only renting this space when we are not on-site; therefore, ensuring privacy during your stay.
With open-beams, wood ceilings and floors, the space exudes mountain comfort and warmth. The residence was designed by my father, a retired architect, who always dreamed of having a mountain home. After two years of design preparation, the home was completed in 2015 and the quality guest house furnishings were finished in 2018.
KITCHENETTE has granite counters, stainless steel GE refrigerator, dishwasher, cook top and microwave. Everything you will need to make light meals and/or snacks. A corner bistro table provides the perfect dining spot with spectacular views of Chimney Top mountain and more.
LIVING ROOM offers plenty of comfortable space to curl-up and read, watch TV or simply take in the view through the windows that expand the length of the room.
BATHROOM has a walk-in tile shower with seat and two vanity areas complete with copper sinks.
BEDROOM: Enjoy sleeping in the luxurious King size bed with pillow top mattress. Upscale furnishings offer plenty of space for your belongings.
MAIN DECK access is yours to enjoy, dining al fresco under the gazebo or having a cocktail while taking in the gorgeous mountain-view sunsets.
Located in Sapphire, this guesthouse is in the mountains. Sapphire National Golf Club and Sapphire Valley Ski Resort are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake Jocassee and Pisgah National Forest. Cashiers Farmers Market and Highlands Biological Station are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with skiing, and don't miss out on the sledding.
