Relax in luxury in the beautiful courtyard next to the fireplace or sunbathe by the pool and hot tub. Either way, you will surely enjoy every minute spent at this completely private estate.
Rancho Maroma is a green home 50 percent powered by solar panels and uses eco-friendly paint. Its thick adobe plaster is an energy efficient material that absorbs energy from the sun and radiates through the home when the weather gets cool, and in warmer months the material helps hold the coolness in the home from the previous night.
For the adventurer in you, take a walk down the country road surrounded by the property’s 20 beautiful acres. Once you return, shower off outside in the master bedroom’s outdoor privacy shower if you wish. Only six minutes to the city of Los Olivos and surrounded by renowned vineyards such as Roblar, Bridlewood, and Brander, there is no excuse not to get out and sightsee! Cozy and inviting yet clean and modern, this five bedroom, three and a half bath home was built to make nature and artwork be seen through every window and door as you relax and take it all in.

***Prior to the recent Santa Barbara County ordinance restricting short term rentals (31 days or less), this home has always been rented as a 5 bedroom property, accommodating up to 10 adults. Current code only allows 6 adults ( in 3 bedrooms)—additional children are allowed, up to maximum of 10. We abide by this ordinance. Rentals of 31 days or more allow up to 10 adults. We want to accurately disclose that this home is larger than a 3 bedroom home, for those seeking 31 days or more rent.
Hired Transportation
**Hired Tour Vans and Buses are prohibited for pick up and drop off in the West Oak Trails Community and on the Rancho Maroma property. Violation of this will result in forfeiture of your security deposit. If you plan to hire a wine tour transportation company, please make arrangements to have the tour bus pickup and drop-off at a different location.**
Guests to reference the Guest Guide Binder that is located in the home. Guests with a confirmed booking may request in advance via email.
**Please note: Pool and Gardening Services are scheduled on Fridays before noon. Due to the working conditions of the Olive Tree business the schedule cannot be altered. Please be aware of these services and allow service men to complete the work without interruption. They know to arrive, work fast and leave as quickly as possible and they make all attempts to not cause any disruptions.
Located in Santa Ynez, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum and Janeway-Parks Carriage House and Hans Christian Andersen Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bridlewood Winery and Roblar Winery. Global Gardens and Labyrinth at St. Mark's-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church are also worth visiting.
