Centrally located 5 bedroom rambler nestled between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons; less than 20 minutes from Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude. Other top resorts within an hour. Lots of light in this spacious, updated house: huge private backyard with mountain views.
After a day outside, you are a mile from coffee, bike shops, grocery, nail salons, massages, and restaurants.
**City laws prohibit us from renting to a group of non-related individuals. We happily rent to families.
The space
Main floor: Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room.
Basement: One bedroom, kids bunk room, bathroom, laundry and family room. Please note that there is only one smart TV, which is in the basement family room. There is a small tv/dvd/vhs in the kid bunk room in the basement. The bunk beds are best suited for children. There is a trundle bed and mattress under one of the bunks if you need an additional adult bed. In the summer, the basement does get chilly when the air conditioning is on to cool the upstairs, so definitely send your cold sleepers downstairs. There are extra blankets in every closet.
Guest access
The entire home and backyard are for your access. There are some of our personal items stored in the garage, which should be left alone, but there is room to park your vehicle in the garage.
Other things to note
Note for summer guests: if you turn the air conditioning on to cool the upstairs, the basement will get VERY chilly. Plan for your cold sleepers downstairs with extra blankets (of which there are plenty)
Located in Midvalley, a neighborhood in Sandy, this vacation home is in the mountains. Snowbird Ski Resort and Alta Ski Area are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Hogle Zoo and Thanksgiving Point.
