This quaint and charming guest cottage occupies one-half of the original farmhouse on the Claiborne & Churchill Winery and Vineyard property. It has been lovingly restored in 2015, with new appliances, flooring and furnishings. Each of the two bedrooms is furnished with a queen-size bed, bed-side tables and lamps. There is (free) WiFi throughout the cottage. The living room features a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, comfortable chairs and a large couch. In the farmhouse kitchen there is a dining table with four chairs, a double sink, and ample cupboard space, as well as a (new) electric range and oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The small but full bathroom has a tub/shower, toilet and sink. There is a small laundry room with a new washer and a new dryer. From the living room and front porch there are sweeping views of vineyard and farm land, rolling hills, and in the distance the foothills of the Los Padres National Forest.

Located in San Luis Obispo, this cottage is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Pismo State Beach and Avila Hot Springs. A Sweet Shoppe Named Desire and San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum are also worth visiting. Kayaking and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours and horse riding nearby.
