The top floor is truly impressive with a king master suite featuring a tray ceiling, TV, private deck access, and bathroom with double vanity, separate shower and a luxurious whirlpool tub. The dining room, great room and kitchen all have dramatic vaulted ceilings. The dining room opens to the rear deck and the tiled kitchen has a large breakfast bar for additional seating. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Wind Over Waves, a neighborhood in Salvo. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, while Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
