This lovely historic bungalow has been extensively renovated in the last few years including a 900 square foot addition. The result is a gorgeous functional home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms plus a generous mud room. The upstairs addition space is the primary suite: private, light and spacious with dual closets, bright stylish bathroom with two sinks and claw foot tub AND a sliding door leading out to the covered balcony that faces the mountains to the west.
Soapstone counters throughout, lovely hardwood floors in living areas, on demand hot water. The exterior is classic Salida Victorian bungalow with covered front porch.
Home has been newly stuccoed. The property is situated on a quiet section of I Street with little through traffic, yet it is in easy walking distance to downtown. Two blocks to the Monarch Spur biking/walking trail. Four blocks to Safeway and Mo Burrito. Five blocks to Little Red Hen Bakery and the downtown area. It's all at your fingertips!

Salida is home to this vacation home. SteamPlant Theater and Event Center and Browns Canyon National Monument are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area and Arkansas River. Rocky Mountain Mini Golf and Mt. Shavano Fish Hatchery are also worth visiting.
