This Modern Marvel is one of Salida's premier Owner managed vacation rentals and the definition of clean and perfect. This second story space is new, custom built & located in the heart of Salida. This is our house, not just a second home or a condo stacked up with the others. The Modern House includes a unique two person extra-large 4 ft deep by 4 ft square Japanese Soaking tub in primary bathroom. It also boasts a giant second story balcony complete with BBQ grill and plenty of comfy seating. You can walk downtown, access local hiking and mountain bike trails right from the home. The Arkansas river is within walking distance for Fly Fishing and rafting. Boat launches are close and property has enough space to park you trailer. Enjoy the 360 great views of Sangre de cristo & Collegiate peaks from the 2nd story covered deck and every window in the home. Guests are required to agree to a basic rental agreement for the safety & protection of both parties.

This second story 2 bedroom home offers a huge, fully stocked custom kitchen, living room with 65 inch Smart TV with App based TV services that provide local news, sports and channels. A large, custom Mid Century modern sofa. a luxurious 4 foot deep by 4 foot wide Japanese soaking tub that accommodates 2 with a separate large rain shower in Master Bath. A great spot to relax after a long day on the slopes or trails. Washer+dryer IN home, propane BBQ grill on 2nd story deck, A/C which is a unique feature to a Salida home. This home is a new build, not a renovation. This home was stick built from scratch, Large private patio at ground level in side yard with custom flagstone patio. 1st story entryway with lots of room for shoes and outdoor wear. Side yard can be gate locked to store bikes/skis/kayaks, etc. The home is brand new so please take good care of the space. Master bedroom includes a SmartTv as well. Beautiful views from every large window in the home with loads of natural light. No pets permitted at this rental.
**Please note, the administration fee on listing is for a voter approved lodging tax starting 1/1/2023 payable to City of Salida PER BEDROOM- PER NIGHT of $15 on top of regular taxes. This tax is to be used to promote affordable and workforce housing in Chaffee County per the City of Salida. We apologize for this fee and hope the City will see fit to offer a reprieve asap.
