Balenbouche Estate is a renowned guesthouse, organic farm, heritage site and family home. The 70-acre grounds feature a plantation house, yoga barn, and 18th-century sugar mill surrounded by ancient trees, pastures, and wild beaches. Dining, massages and tours are available. The South of the island is the most beautiful and authentic. The pitons, hot springs, waterfalls and many other attractions are a short drive away. All our eco-friendly cottages (Waterlily, Banyan, Almond, Frangipani, Calabash and Moringa) are built without screens and cooled by the tropical breeze.

Frangipani was built to fit into the landscape of our historic property using largely reclaimed materials in a traditional West Indian fashion. The cottage offers a bedroom with a king bed, a spacious bathroom with a natural stone shower, a kitchenette with wooden deck, and a front porch. The open area all around the pitched roof allows for natural ventilation and lighting. This cottage is the perfect getaway for couples and honeymooners, but there is room for a single bed or baby cot if needed. For older children or larger families, the Almond or Banyan cottages are more suitable.

Located in Laborie, this cottage is in a rural area and on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Gros Piton and Sandy Beach. Mankote Mangrove and Diamond Falls are also worth visiting. Scuba diving and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours and horse riding nearby.
