This cottage was built in 1885 and retains its old-world charm while featuring modern conveniences. Whether you’re enjoying breezes from Matanzas Bay sitting on the front porch swing, or dining in the resort-like back yard featuring an outdoor bar, built-in eating area, covered porch and lounge chairs, this is an experience not to be missed.
The space
History awaits you as you enter the cottage and take in its original hard-wood floors/trim work, large windows, spacious kitchen and dining area. Enjoy the period artwork, framed pictures of Saint Augustine landmarks and charming period appropriate decor. Enjoy a shower in a fully tiled shower with a seat, a bath in the newly restored clawfoot tub or use the outdoor shower after a day at the beach.
Just because you’ll feel like you’re traveling back over 130 years into the past, doesn’t mean you’ll be giving up any of the modern conveniences you’ve come to expect. The home has high speed Wi-Fi, 2 flat screen high-definition TV’s, central A/C, 6 ceiling fans, an outdoor blue-tooth speaker and keypad entry.
