2 Br Cottage Vacation Rental In Saco, Maine

This home is located in the spirited waterfront community known as Camp Ellis in Saco Maine (Southern Maine). Camp Ellis is a working waterfront community with a dock and a mile long jetty. Very popular for local lobstering and tuna fishing! When the ice truck drives by the house you know a fisherman is at the dock with a tuna!!!

Immaculate well-appointed cozy cottage with newly installed central air - no more noisy window AC units!!! Newly updated and decorated in a tasteful "pottery barn coastal". Two bedrooms with one large bath and an additional outdoor shower. One bedroom is furnished with a king size bed (memory foam mattress) and has a walk-in closet and TV; second bedroom has two twin beds and a small closet. All linens included at no extra charge. Bathroom is newly remodeled and spacious with a large vanity and walk-in shower (no tub).

Good size kitchen with a breakfast nook. All stainless-steel appliances, including a dishwasher, garbage disposal and is fully stocked with cookware, dishware and all the necessities for whipping up a quick meal. Comfortable sized dining room and a large back deck to enjoy outdoor dining and colorful sunsets. There is a sunny, all-season front porch for morning coffee or evening cocktails, which has been completely remodeled (pictures coming soon).

The house is equipped with a new outdoor gas grill. There is a washer and dryer in the basement for guests to use as well. Additionally, beach towels and 4 beach chairs are provided. This house accommodates 4 guests comfortably. And has a nice big yard for cornhole and other games (stored in basement) and a large driveway for off street parking.
The house is just a few blocks to 7 miles of beautiful beach, which includes Ferry Beach State Park (you can walk all the way to Old Orchard beach at low tide). It's a short drive to popular attractions in Old Orchard Beach and many of Saco's family attractions including amusement and water parks, miniature golf, a drive-in and indoor movie theater (RT 1 North). And enjoy nearby golf courses in Saco, Old Orchard Beach and Arundel (a Bush family favorite). Great vacation spot for the entire family. Sorry, No Pets and No Smoking.
The Camp Ellis trolley is back this season, providing transportation from Camp Ellis to OOB for an afternoon or evening of OOB fun! Kayak, bike, hike, swim or just relax in this waterfront village. Fish off the jetty or watch the fisherman haul in lobster and tuna on the dock, just a short walk from the cottage. Enjoy watching the boats sailing down the Saco River to the open ocean. There is a small country store for essentials with great sandwiches and a seafood restaurant and bar (Hout's) with live entertainment and ice cream all within walking distance from the house (businesses are only open seasonally). Camp Ellis is less than a 30 minute drive to Portland and Kennebunkport, about 40 minutes to Freeport for some outlet shopping! Located in Camp Ellis, a neighborhood in Saco, this cottage is near theme parks and on a river. Biddeford City Theater and Gardens at Historic Wallingford Hall are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Old Orchard Beach Parasail and Funtown Splashtown USA. Marden's Surplus and Salvage and Aquaboggan Water Park are also worth visiting. Jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
