With a complete estate buyout, you and your guests will have exclusive access to 19 well-appointed bedrooms and several common spaces for meals, meetings, and activities. The estate can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests (included) and 150 day guests (for additional fee). We offer a variety of wedding and retreat packages including meals and activities that can be tailored to your specific needs, ensuring that your special event is everything you've dreamed of and more (contact host for costs and details).

During your stay, you and your guests will have access to a wide range of outdoor activities in every season. Awaken your body to sunrise yoga led by our master instructors, relax with a book in one of our cozy sitting rooms, or simply bask in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. In the fall, enjoy the vibrant foliage while sipping hot cider by the fire pit. In the winter and spring, hit the slopes at nearby Killington or Pico ski resorts and after a long day of activity, soak in the hot tub under the stars. In the summer, enjoy golf, hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding on nearby trails, or take a refreshing dip in a nearby swimming hole.

This full estate listing includes three houses: the Main House, the Carriage House, and the Farmhouse. The Main House has 7 bedrooms upstairs, and numerous common areas downstairs. The Carriage House has 7 bedrooms, all with private entrances. The Main and Carriage House Suites are all king or queen beds, with private en suite bathrooms. Several bedrooms have sofa beds. Some suites have oversize bath tubs, some are jetted tubs, and some are antique claw foot tubs. Several rooms have lounge chairs and fire places in room. The Farmhouse has 5 bedrooms, a full kitchen and large living space downstairs, a full bathroom upstairs, and two half bathrooms downstairs.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: We require a refundable security deposit of $5,000 for the 19-bedroom estate. A hold will be placed 2 days before check-in and released 5 days after check-out. We reserve the right to withhold the Security Deposit after expiration or termination of Guest’s tenancy, and to deduct from the Security Deposit costs for extraordinary expenses or damages including, but not limited to, damage to the property, loss and/or misuse of personal property, excessive laundry and/or cleaning, or staining/damage to linens, towels, rugs, or furniture. Lost or unreturned keys constitute damages and will incur a $180 replacement and administrative charge. Lock-outs are $150. If expenses and/or damages exceed the amount of the Security Deposit, Guest shall be required to pay additional fees to restore our property to its pre-rental condition within ten (10) days of your receipt of additional billing.

PET POLICY: We LOVE dogs and recognize their importance to our families. That being said, some of our rooms can accommodate a max of two non-aggressive-breed dogs for an extra $75 dollars per day up to $150/dog/stay fee to cover wear and tear only in our Farmhouse and King Carriage House Suites. Pet is NOT allowed in the MAIN INN.
The pet fee does not cover damage done by the dog. Dogs must be well-behaved and are not allowed on furniture (please bring a dog bed for convenience). Dogs must be crated if left home alone and we highly recommend they be leashed when outside. Our proximity to the woods allows for the possibility of wild animals nearby. Please be courteous of other guests and pick up after your dog. No cats allowed. Please have your pet vaccination papers sent to us before arrival.

Located in Rutland, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Wilson Castle and Calvin Coolidge Homestead are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Green Mountain Shopping Plaza and Diamond Run Mall.
