Our paradise is right on the lake with no busy streets to cross and includes over 140 feet of lake frontage providing breathtaking views and distance from neighbors. A separate suite rental provides complete privacy for groups who rent both. Outdoor space includes huge furnished deck with 2 Weber gas grills, a dock with bench and swimming ladder – perfect for fishing, swimming, relaxing, firepit 8 adirondack chairs, cornhole toss, and large parking area vehicles, boats and outdoor activities.
When we acquired this property, we thought the perfect name for this property was “Lost Lunker’s Lodge.” As Lunkers means large, the lake frontage is large, the outdoor space is large and the deck is large, and we’re located right on beautiful Lost Island Lake.
The 1st floor includes, 1 bedroom, half bath, full kitchen (including refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, seasonings, kitchenware, pots and pans, crockpots), living room, dining room, card game room, and fish cleaning area for your fresh catches including Walleye, Perch, Crappies, Blue Gill and Catfish caught right off the dock!
The 2nd floor includes 3 bedrooms and full bathroom.
Amenities include:
Welcome basket with snacks
Beverages
Smores Kit
Linens
Bath towels
Beach towels
Free high-speed internet
3 TVs including cable tv and 144 channels
Paper supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, plates, and cups

Shampoo and Conditioners
Gas for grills
And more

2 private entrances include access from parking and access from the huge deck.
A long privacy fence on the firepit side of the property for added privacy and enjoyment.
Our price includes free cleanup with no hidden fees.

Hunting dogs are allowed on the property and in the shed. Dogs are not allowed in the house or suite.

Located in Ruthven, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Victorian Museum on Main and Palo Alto County Historical Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Clay County Fairgrounds and Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum. 'Boji Splash Indoor Waterpark Okoboji and Iowa Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Museum are also worth visiting.
