This is a new property that I have just purchased. Come on out while this introductory special is in effect. All I ask is that you provide me with some constructive feedback so we can make this property even more wonderful than it already is. I know you will love the location. Within a 4 block radius of your cabin you have Starbucks, the main area for shopping in Ruidoso, multiple restaurants and bars, and Wingfield Park which is a great place to walk, is home to the Christmas trail of lights, Ice Skating in the winter and has many festivals! This cabin has a completely remodeled kitchen, open living area and three comfortable and spacious bedrooms.

We understand that things are a little more difficult during these times than normal so we have instituted:

We have streaming TVs in the living area plus each bedroom. Just watch the free channels or put in your credentials to watch the services that you already subscribe to.
Enter the front door and find a welcoming open concept living area with wood floors, big screen tv, modern / rustic décor and a beautiful kitchen / dining area. Right now the fireplace is not operable, but it is a beautiful focal spot in the room. At some time I will re-design the chimney where it will work again. For now, I decorate it as a seasonal theme with candles. This large area will welcome large family gatherings and provide a space to create wonderful vacation memories.
The kitchen is fully furnished with everything that your chef would want or need. Find something you are missing, let me know and we can make arrangements for it to appear. No need to bring dishes, pots, pans or cooking implements. Just bring your food and make the magic happen in this dream kitchen. For the fans of the grill, we have a brand new gas grill in the back yard and all the BBQ tools that you would need at your disposal. For coffee time we have a coffee bar with a drip style coffee maker and filters. I know you may be particular about your type of coffee, so just bring what you like.
Down the hall you will find a lovely full bathroom and three spacious bedrooms. The master hosts an additional EnSite full bath. Each bedroom has it’s own TV. Hardwood floors and tile welcome you throughout the house. There are some game controllers in the bedroom with the trundle bed feel free to hook them up or bring your on PlayStation and turn the trundle bedroom into your own game room.
There are three doors to the outside and each one hosts it’s own deck. The front and side decks are great places to relax and just watch the world go by. The back deck looks out on an apple tree that is a neighborhood favorite of the wildlife in the area.
Let’s talk about air conditioning. We have central heat, and someday will add central air, but for now we have a small portable air conditioner in the living room. There are very few times you need air conditioning in Ruidoso. June is our hottest month. During June it gets a little stuffy during the day so I added a small portable air conditioner in the living area. By the time you are ready for bed the temperatures will be nice and cool. Just use the windows properly. Open them at night and close them during the day and the house will maintain a nice temperature. Use the portable AC in the living room in the evening and you will be quite comfortable.

We have a great fenced yard for the kids and the dogs to run around in and play. Maybe one day we will add a hot tub, but that day has not yet come.

You have the entire property. I'm usually not on site, but am easy to get a hold of if you need anything. It’s located in a nice quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks away from downtown where you will find all the shops bars and restaurants that everyone comes to Ruidoso for. Walking is great from this location! Other alternatives include driving your car or calling Lincoln Co. Transit service.
Safety: Property has 3 cameras: 1 located on the house between the carport and the front door pointed at the yard and driveway. 1 located over the front door pointed at the front yard. 1 located over the back door and pointed at the yard. These cameras will be recording during your stay.
Pets – yes, your pets are welcome, just please when you leave the property make it look as though there was no pet there. Pick up the waste and clean up any excess fur. We do charge a pet fee ($85/stay for up to 2 pets and $150/stay for up to 4 pets) because they do cause some wear and tear, but we know they are important to you, and we want to accommodate your whole family! Vrbo does not have a way to charge the pet fee when you make your reservation. Just let me know that fluffy will be with you and we'll handle it via the reservation system after your reservation is confirmed.
Explanation about the damage deposit: Your reservation may require a damage deposit. If you book via Airbnb, there is no up front deposit, however if there is damage, you will be charged after your stay. If you are booking on my website, the checkout process will be easy. However, if you are booking on VRBO, they will show it as a "Refundable deposit paid at property". That is not accurate. The deposit is simply a credit card hold which is authorized on the day that you arrive and then automatically drops off 7 days after you leave. If you leave with no damage, you will never notice it. If there is damage, I will notify you of what I have found prior to making any type of claim against that hold. I'm sorry that VRBO describes it that way, but I have brought it to their attention, and they say it is the only thing that can be done with their system. I think they are just putting the square peg in the round hole. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Ruidoso is home to this vacation home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Fort Stanton-Snowy River National Conservation Area and Wingfield Park, while Free Spirits at Noisy Water and Museum of the Horse are cultural highlights. Pillow's Funtrackers and Ruidoso Winter Park are also worth visiting.
