Experience a one-of-a-kind getaway at this restored 1847 home located one block from the beach and within walking distance of the village, harbor, and parks! You'll have amazing views from the house. This retreat opens to a large fenced backyard with vegetable and flower gardens. Fantastic attractions within three miles of the home include Maine Lighthouse Museum, The Strand Theatre, Farnsworth Art Museum, Rockland Golf Club, Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, and Owls Head Transportation Museum.
This unique home away from home offers modern amenities with the warmth of a real home. The open concept allows for endless sunlight streaming through from sunrise to sunset - it's the perfect retreat for creative inspiration! It's an artist studio or a writer's retreat with a dedicated space with a working table, a drawing table, and an easel, so don't hesitate to let your creativity flow in!
Curl up by the warmth of the classic gas stove while reading a favorite book or planning your next adventures. When mealtime comes, surprise your guests with delicious homemade meals prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. You can step it up a notch and take advantage of the Weber gas grill for some summertime cookouts. There is a deck off the dining room, which allows you to admire the gorgeous views of the fenced yard and garden. Additional perks include an on-site washer/dryer, board games, and a firepit.
Things to Know
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Located in Rockland, this vacation home is in the city center and near the beach. Strand Theater and Owls Head Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Coastal Children's Museum and Breakwater Vineyards. Sail Power and Steam Museum and Oakland Park Bowling Lanes are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with snowboarding and skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as sledding and ice skating.
