Come experience a part of history as you cozy up in the first Mormon church & school in Riverton. Built in 1880 & restored in 2011, enjoy all the old charm with new and high end luxury. Close to I-15/ SLC airport/downtown 25/ SKIING 30/Provo 30 min or less away. The space
Built in 1880 and carefully restored in 2011, this school/church house features exposed brick, wood floors, calcutta gold marble, private bathroom with large marble shower and built in washer dryer. The modern gallery kitchen is fully-equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, gas range, toaster, blender, plus dishes, pots and pans, utensils and Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy all the comforts of home, and save the expense of dining out every night. Breakfast is included with your stay. Breakfast is, Assorted oatmeal and coffee is stocked in the kitchen.

The living room has a roomy couch to relax on and holds a pull out queen bed. There is fast wireless internet, large flatscreen TV with Netflix & DVD/blue ray player (sorry no cable), a front covered porch overlooks the nicely landscaped grounds.
Guest access
The guest cottage has a completely separate entrance, parking pergola and walkway. The front porch is covered and has a great view of the landscaped grounds.

Bedroom: The bedroom has high end queen bed mattress with linens, reading nook and a large walk in closet that is spacious enough for all your luggage and ski gear. Enjoy playing some tunes on our period styled record player with our small collection of classic vinyl records.

Kitchen: The kitchen has top of the line appliances large kitchen aid fridge/freezer, gas range, microwave, built in dishwasher drawers and farmhouse sink with disposal. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, blender, utensils and the sorts. A Keurig coffee maker, coffee, and a simple oatmeal breakfast is always available for our guests during their stay.

Laundry: There is a closet in the bathroom with a Bosch stackable washer and dryer with detergent and iron/ironing board that is available for your convenience.

Bathroom: The bathroom in the guest cottage has Calcutta marble floor and countertops with a large vanity and sitting area to do your makeup. A large glass door shower with bench put the cherry on the top.

Internet/TV: We offer free wifi for our guests and you also have access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, (sorry no cable). We also furnish a well stocked collection of DVDs and books. We love history and all the books and decor are all from the nineteen hundred's era.

Parking: Guests have two covered parking spots underneath a pergola right next to the guest cottage. This parking is devoted just for AirBnB guests.

Please note: This guest cottage is separated by a locked door to our personal home. Because of that, you may hear us and our kids from time to time. We respect and adhere to quiet hours from 10pm-6am.

High chair and portable crib are available upon request.

We have quite a few pets who you might see around the grounds of our home. Winston is our bashful cocker/retriever, 3 white ducks & many chickens. If you have allergies to pets, no need to fear, we do not let our pets inside our guest cottage. Our pets spend the day outside and come into our heated/ac garage to sleep each night. We have been known to leave guests plenty of fresh eggs during their stay.

South Valley, a neighborhood in Riverton, is home to this vacation home. Gardner Village and Timpanogos Cave National Monument are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Airborne Trampoline Arena and Cinemark Draper. Thanksgiving Point and Cowabunga Bay Water Park are also worth visiting.
