This spacious and luxurious custom home is a traveler’s dream. The Ridgway Retreat is situated on a 5-acre lot overlooking the Cimarrons, San Juans and Ouray Valley. The floor to ceiling windows highlight the stunning panoramic views. With a grand total of 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms spread across a spacious 3,200 sq feet, all guests will have the space to enjoy the serenity of the surrounding mountains and abundant wildlife.

The Ridgeway retreat is perfect for hosting Large groups. The Kitchen features a large walk-in pantry, stainless GE Café appliances and an island with seating for four while the dining table comfortably seats 10. The expansive deck is the perfect setting for a morning coffee, mid day meal, afternoon nap or stargazing at night. The full wet bar/ coffee bar is sure to accommodate morning and evening gatherings, while the cozy atmosphere of the space provides the ideal ambiance for socializing. There is a large laundry room as well as a climate controlled 2 car garage and parking for additional cars in the driveway.

Bedroom Configurations:
Master bedroom- king-size bed, desk, comfortable reading chair, walk-out access to the covered deck, walk-in closet, large bathroom with two sinks as well as dual shower heads in the oversized shower.
Guest room- queen bed, full size closet and a private bathroom with easy access to the front door.
Second Master- Full height walk-out basement with king bed, bunk beds, walk-in closet, private bathroom with large shower and dual sinks. Indoor and outdoor seating areas, with a private walkout deck. The indoor seating area has a 4 person dining table, couch and TV.
Loft- While it is an open loft, it is set back from the living room such that you can’t see the sleeping space. The privacy dividers can block the entire space from view. There are 2 built-in queen beds with a twin pull-out which allows the loft to sleep 5. There is a closet and 2 large drawers under queen beds. It has a private bathroom with bathtub/shower combo. There is a 4 person table perfect for games or a meal and a separate seating area with 2 comfortable swivel chairs which can take in the spectacular view from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room or turn to be part of the loft/game area festivities.
There are limitless ways to configure guests so that everyone’s needs are met.

The drive is easy! At nearly 2,000 feet higher than Ridgway, Elk Meadow Estates is situated on Miller Mesa at an elevation of 8,700 to 8,900 feet. It is just 15 minutes from town which boasts a small grocery store, emergency services and multiple restaurants. It is off the beaten path yet easily accessible with an easy drive, breathtaking views (literally!) all WITHOUT any dangerous exposure (no drop-offs!).

While you feel that you are in the middle of a mountain wilderness, you are actually in the neighborhood of Elk Meadow Estates, just six miles south of Ridgway. Ridgway is known for its vibrant and welcoming community, ample dining options that will please the most discerning foodie and centralized location in Ouray County, which boasts unlimited festivals and outdoor activities year round.
