The Gîte de la Colline, located in Mare à Vieille Place, in the Cirque de Salazie, is housed in a wooden chalet of Creole architecture. This independent ground floor gîte labeled Gîtes de France offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and peaks.
With 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, it is fully equipped. Kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove, extractor hood, pressure cooker, coffee maker etc. Child's bed (-3 years) on request. Village of Salazie about 7 km away, town of Saint-André 17 km away (30 min drive). Nearby, possibility of hiking. Accommodation with 2 bedrooms, one with 2 beds of 90x190 and the other with a bed of 140x190. In the living room a comfortable living space with sofas, TV, Internet.

From Roland Garros airport, take the expressway towards Saint-André, exit towards Salazie. Continue towards Grand Ilet. Arriving at the village of Mare in Vieille Place, at the kiosks, turn left on Chemin Bègue. Continue to Chemin Plateau, go to the end of the road to number 82.
Salazie is home to this cottage. Maison Folio and Thermal Bath Ruins are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Pitons, Cirques and Remparts of Reunion Island and Bridal Veil Falls. Museum of Instruments and Music of the Indian Ocean and Museum d'Histoire Naturelle de La Reunion are also worth visiting.
