Relax & enjoy this quaint and quirky, 1-story home in a quiet neighborhood on the west side of town. Our classic, mid-century bungalow situated on a large lot has been partially updated with some modern amenities, but holds it’s mid century character. According to guest feedback, exterior of the home needs some TLC. Since the home was built in the 1936 hallways and rooms are smaller than today's standards. Although this home is one level, there are additions that have a small step up or step down. Quirky layout, but open concept. Smaller kitchen, but fully stocked.
Fully fenced backyard is perfect for your furry friends to run and play. As a disclosure, parts of the fence are only 3 feet tall. Walking distance to Canyon Lake Park; minutes from the Black Hills National Forest off Highway 44; less than 8 minutes to downtown Rapid City; less than 5 minutes to west side shopping and restaurants; and of course only 30 minutes to Mount Rushmore. This home is sure to be the perfect basecamp for your adventures in the Black Hills!

Rapid City is home to this vacation home. Dinosaur Park and Museum of the American Bison are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Berlin Wall Exhibit and Black Hills Caverns. Watiki Water Park and Storybook Island are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain biking, hiking/biking trails, and cycling nearby.
