THE SPACE:
The studio space includes a luxurious king-sized bed, bathroom with walk-in shower, fully stocked kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, and fully stocked coffee bar. Comfortable seating in the living room with a large HD TV and electric fireplace for indoor ambience. Fast Wi-Fi and multiple streaming services available in addition to the Sonos music system for listening to your favorite music on the patio or indoors.

Located on the lower level of our home the studio has its own secure and private living quarters and outdoor entrance with a keypad for self-check-in. Guests are welcome to the entire yard and patio space as much as desired. There are numerous flowers and trees to enjoy throughout the property.

GUEST ACCESS:
Please note that guests will have a designated parking space in the driveway. Also, access to the suite will require walking through the yard to the rear of our property, and there is a slight slope to the side yard so guests that have difficulty walking on uneven surfaces may not be comfortable here. We are happy to help guests with luggage upon request.

SECURITY:
Outdoor security cameras are in place and monitor all exterior doors for the safety and security of the property and guests. Video clips are motion activated, not continuously recorded.

OTHER INFO TO NOTE:
We have a mini-Australian Shepherd, Penny, and a cat named Whiskey - they are shown in one of the listing photos. Penny barks when visitors arrive but quiets down as soon as she's allowed to greet you, she loves people and is very social and friendly. Whiskey is also very social and is an indoor/outdoor cat so you may see him wandering around the patio & yard.

We don't use the patio space or hot tub when we have guests as we want them to feel the space is completely theirs to use. You may see us mowing grass or watering flowers and Garth does check the hot tub daily to adjust chemicals, but we try to keep the disturbance to your rented space to a minimum.

Although we do live on the upper level of the home, most of our activity takes place on the other side of the home that is not directly above the studio suite, and we do our best to minimize the noise levels. Guests can expect to notice little if any noise from other parts of the home. The studio suite is quiet and private as it's located on the backside of the house. Our guests' privacy and enjoyment of this space is our number one priority.

Rapid City is home to this vacation home. Black Hills National Forest and Dinosaur Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Watiki Water Park and Black Hills Maze. Fort Hays Old West Town & Dinner Show and Reptile Gardens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
