Our house has 4 bedrooms, an office and a ping pong table. There is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen downstairs. The office and ping pong table are off the main living area. There is a mud room with plenty of storage for coats and boots inside the front door.
There is a large patio just outside the kitchen with a BBQ and firepit with seating for 6.
The main bedroom has a king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom, the other rooms all have queen beds. There is a crib that can be set up for a baby.
The house is situated on 1.7 acres of land and has access from the house to walking trails in summer and cross country trails in winter. There is more serious hiking within a 10 minute drive, the Windmill Hill Pinnacle Association maintains 2700 acres of wilderness for hiking.
Fall Foliage is brilliant in the area and always impresses. There are dozens of apple orchards nearby as well as farmers markets and antique stores.
The area is very popular with cross country skiing, there are maintained trails within 15 minutes as well as options for touring on your own.
Putney is 10 minutes away, Brattleboro is 25 minutes. Boston is 2.5 hours, NYC is 3.5.

There is ample parking for at least 3 vehicles. It is right next to a quiet road so access is easy and the road is well maintained by snow plows in winter.
Putney is home to this vacation home. Next Stage Arts and Yellow Barn are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Hooper Golf Club and Hooper Golf Course. Hidden Springs Maple and Harlow's are also worth visiting.
