Relax on the shorefront and watch the waves crashing on the rocks, the seagulls flying, and the lobster men (and women) pulling their traps. Explore real Maine lobstering villages. Buy lobster off the dock and steam them in sea water in our outdoor cooker.
Just five miles from the village of Winter Harbor and the Schoodic portion of Acadia National Park. Drive around the park loop along the rocky shore, while enjoying views of the open ocean and the nearby islands. Take the ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor; enjoy the quaint village of Winter Harbor, art galleries, restaurants and even a golf course. There is also a grocery store, 5 & 10 general store, and gas station.

Located in Prospect Harbor, this cottage is on the waterfront. Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Acadia National Park's Visitors Center and Cadillac Mountain. Prayer Labyrith and Wild Gardens of Acadia are also worth visiting. Sailing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and horse riding nearby.
