The Space:

With enough space to accommodate 10 people and 3 kids, this waterfront fairland cottage is ideal for families, groups, or friends. It features a fully equipped kitchen, an office, a covered deck, and plenty of outdoor space for your little ones. The 2,230-sq ft English Tudor-style home also has vaulted ceilings and a spiral staircase for even more character.
Living space

With exposed wooden beams and a cozy stone fireplace, the living room is one of the most beloved areas in the fairland cottage! Curl up on the couch with a good book, catch a game on the flat-screen TV, or simply soak up the panoramic views of the ocean from the corner nook.

Kitchen & Dining

This open kitchen and dining space is built for entertaining. You'll have everything you need at your disposal for cooking, including all dishes, cookware, and utensils. And with the 8-person dining room table just steps away, you can still mingle with your guests while you prepare meals. The island in the kitchen also has bar seating to accommodate two more people as well.
On a warm evening, you can also fire up the grill on the covered deck just off the dining room. There's nothing quite like watching the sunset with a warm meal and friends and family at your side!

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

This fairland cottage has 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom on the top floor and three bedrooms & 2 bathrooms on the bottom floor. The upstairs bedroom has 3 bunk beds perfect for kids. Up the spiral staircase inside the bedroom, there is a play area. The upstairs bathroom only has a bathtub with no shower.
On the bottom floor, you'll find two King bedrooms and one Queen bedroom. One King has an en-suite bathroom. Both Kings have unobstructed water views and plenty of space for your guests to sprawl out. In addition to the en-suite, there is another bathroom on the bottom floor with a standing shower, toilet, and vanity sink.

Outdoor Space

The outdoor area and surrounding property is one of the biggest selling points of the fairland cottage. You can also soak in the hot tub while enjoying the pristine view. Not only do you have west-facing water views from the covered deck or backyard, but you also have a private staircase that leads to 50 feet of beachfront. That means you can go kayaking, clamming, or crabbing right from your home!
Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the house. Garage may be accessible per request and a fee.

Getting around from the property is convenient and offers plenty of options to explore the local area.
For groceries, the nearest option is Red Apple Market, just 3.4 miles away, offering a wide range of fresh produce, deli items, and organic products. Another great option is Safeway, located 5 miles away, where you can find all your daily necessities. For specialty items, Poulsbo Farmers Market, only 5 miles away, provides a delightful selection of local produce and artisanal goods.
When it comes to dining, you'll find great cuisine close by. Burrata Bistro, 4 miles away, serves delicious Italian fare in a cozy setting. Just a bit further, at 4.5 miles, Sogno di Vino offers a fantastic wine bar experience with Mediterranean-inspired dishes. This property offers convenient access to various transportation options and local amenities. For those traveling by car, the nearby WA-3 highway provides a direct route to the neighboring cities of Silverdale and Bremerto. Poulsbo’s charming downtown area, with its array of shops, restaurants, and waterfront attractions, is just 4.5 miles away. Public transportation is also easily accessible, with the nearest bus stop (Finn Hill at Hwy 3- bus 344) located approximately 3 miles from the property.
Other Things to Note:

1- The hot water tank is a smaller size. If you're traveling with a larger group (more than 5 people), please stagger your showers to ensure everyone has access to hot water.

2- There are a few steps/stairs on the driveway to the fairland cottage.

3- The upstairs bedroom has 3 bunk beds and a play area up the spiral staircase which needs adults' supervision for small kids.

4- Upstairs bathroom only has a bathtub without a shower.

5- A set of curtains is to divide the dedicated work space and dining area.

6- The house is on septic so please only dispose toilet paper and natural waste

7- A Tesla charger in the garage can be requested with a $15/car-day fee. Please, contact your cohost.

8- There is weekly maintenance which may occur during your stay.

9- Guests need to buy charcoal for the BBQ.

10- While there is no air conditioning, the proximity to the water keeps the temperature cooler.

11- Please note it’s an older home, To avoid tripping the breaker, we recommend not running two high-wattage appliances on the same circuit (like a hair dryer and curling iron). If the breaker does trip, you can simply flip it back on.

12. HOT TUB & KAYAK USE – AT YOUR OWN RISK: You're welcome to enjoy the hot tub and kayak during your stay. However, please note that their use is entirely at your own risk. By choosing to use these amenities, you accept full responsibility for your safety and release the hosts from any liability.
