Dr. Katherine Bouras has been with VCA Animal Medical Center since 1999. She grew up in the Washington, DC area. Katherine knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since the age of eight. She grew up riding and showing horses and caring for various animals including goats, sheep, chickens and her own dog and cat.

Dr. Bouras received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her veterinary degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She loves general medicine and working with our wonderful clients and patients. She lives in Maine with her husband, son, and cat Coco. When not at work she enjoys sewing, reading, cooking, kayaking and spending time with her family.
