Welcome to Rear Break, a modern vacation home located just steps from Portland’s vibrant Mississippi District in North Portland.
Mississippi Avenue is one of the city’s most beloved neighborhoods, known for its lively atmosphere and creative spirit. Within a few minutes’ walk you’ll find:

The Space:
This newly built modern home was thoughtfully designed as a vacation rental, making it ideal for families and larger groups traveling together.
The main living area features a large open floor plan connecting the kitchen, dining area, and living room. A wall of windows fills the space with natural light, while warm cedar accents and designer touches create a comfortable and stylish place to gather.
The fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need — from a coffee grinder and coffee maker to blenders, cookware, and baking sheets — making it easy to prepare meals for your group. The large dining table provides plenty of space for shared dinners and planning the day’s adventures.
ADA-Accessible Main Floor:
We are proud to offer ADA accessibility on the main level, making the home comfortable for guests using wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or anyone with limited mobility.
