Escape to this clean, serene rustic cottage. The interior provides a relaxing environment as exposed knotty pine tongue and groove decorate the walls and wooden tiles cover the floor. Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen provide for stress free entertaining and a farm sink make for easy clean up. The dining area seats 6 with 3 bar stools at the kitchen peninsula for family gatherings. The many cupboards promise comfortable storage. The 2 bedrooms on main floor include a queen bed in one and a king bed in the master bedroom. A pocket door joins the master bedroom with the bathroom that entails a subway tiled shower and a charming tile floor. Upstairs, the open loft consists of 2 single beds and a chill area to watch tv or play video games. There is also a full bathroom, toilet and stand up shower and another bedroom with a queen bed. A small patio deck off of the loft is perfect for relaxing with a drink and watching the sun set. Outside, the main floor deck looks out onto beautiful Crooked Lake. It provides a sitting area with outside chairs to ease back and enjoy the view. An outside gas grill, picnic table and outdoor table and chairs, make for a lovely outside dining experience in the summer. You can also roast marshmallows and gather around the fire pit at night. A private dock and small beach, allow for fun and easy lake access where you can fish right off of the dock!. Finally, to complete your stay, kayaks, a floating mat and dock slide are available for additional costs, just say the word!
Located in Petoskey, this cabin is in the city center and on a lake. Lake Michigan and Petoskey State Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Great Lakes Center for the Arts and Cheboiganing Preserve. Big Bear Adventures and Chillermania! are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling and sledding.
