West of Eden – East is half of the West of Eden vacation home and can be rented by itself or together with West of Eden – West, making it perfect for extended family reunions, and destination events like weddings, anniversaries, special birthdays, and even business retreats.

East can comfortably accommodate up to 18 of your closest friends and family, or business associates. Lounging on the beach, taking a dip in the pool, surf fishing, or just enjoying a refreshing beverage on the balcony, you and your guests will enjoy the peace and tranquility that Perdido Key has to offer! 

 The Beach

This place is right on the beach! Start your day right with a quick morning swim or a little sunrise yoga. The kids can wake up and be out on the beach in just a few minutes. Catch up on the latest family news as you enjoy that first cup of coffee while sitting on the porch watching the kids play. West of Eden also has a swimming pool when you get tired of the beach (if that’s possible). Either way, beach or poolside, work on your tan, finish that book, or just take a much-needed nap. 

Perdido Key is slightly less crowded than its neighbors in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, so you can enjoy the quieter pleasures of beach living. There’s plenty of space to spread out, relax, or play on the beach. At night, leave the windows open so you can hear the soothing sound of the waves.

Beach Living

All it takes is one step into East, with its wide open floor plans and bright, cheerful beach décor, and you’ll start to feel all that stress melting away. The open, flowing spaces mean plenty of room for gathering everyone together for family meals, quick meetings, or game nights.  Free Wi-Fi throughout makes it easy to connect to the outside world if you absolutely have to. And the kids can stream all their favorite shows anytime on one of the many flat-screen TVs that are scattered throughout the unit. 

Deep, shady porches extend the entire length of the house on the beachside on both the first and second floors with plenty of cute Adirondack chairs. You and your guests will be spending most of your time out here, enjoying the beautiful view and balmy breeze.

The dining table in West of Eden – East can easily handle 10 people, and there is counter seating in the kitchen perfect for a quick snack. Several picnic tables are on the shady ground floor and are perfect when you need to feed a gang of hungry kids.

The 6 charming bedrooms boast a combination of kings, twins, and doubles, allowing for flexible guest accommodations. There are 5 full bathrooms, and several bedrooms have en suite baths. The beachside bedrooms have French doors for direct access to the rocking chairs on the porch. You may not want to leave your bedroom! For specifics, see the details below.

About Perdido Key

Perdido Key (or Lost Key) is on the tip of the Florida panhandle and is known for its beautiful beaches and backwaters, dining and entertainment options, national parks, and historic forts. And the world-famous Flora-Bama honky-tonk with its bushwhackers, oysters and live music is just minutes away! Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are pretty close too.

Rental Age Policy
An adult 25 years or older must reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25, and there are no exceptions to this policy.

Located in Pensacola, this vacation home is on the beach. Shoppers can check out The Wharf, while everyone can enjoy the natural beauty of Gulf State Park and Perdido Key Beach. The Park at OWA and Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as sailing and other activities like birdwatching.
